| Client: | Les Nereides |
| Location: | Covent Garden |
| Project Duration: | 6 Weeks |
The client Les Neriedes, is a French retailer of high quality costume jewellery.
The very small area, along with the variety of high quality finishes involved, were always going to make this a challenging project.
The project commenced with the strip out of existing fixtures and the removal of a staircase and glass floor. Structural alterations then took place to allow for the relocation of the stairwell and reinstatement of the previously removed floor area.
Full mechanical & electrical systems were installed.
Curves were prominent in the design with a curved wall incorporating glass display units, oval ceiling feature with concealed lighting and a further radiused feature detail to the ceilings formed in G.R.P.
The walls were finished in Armourcoat polished plaster, floors were Limestone tiles and a structural glass balustrade enclosed the stairwell.
Display & counter units were all supplied by Quinn Interiors and comprised of U.V. bonded glass units to sit alongside to glass balustrade. Display counters were a combination of glass, sprayed paint finishes and polished hardwood.
A new shopfront was installed, manufactured in timber in keeping with the local surroundings and the features of the existing buildings.
